Community revitalization comes in many forms – and often appears in unexpected ways.
We believe in the power of helping others thrive. Whether it be through a fresh coat of vibrant, colorful paint, or ensuring a food bank has the resources in place to support local families, we team up with organizations supporting those most in need to rejuvenate communities and brighten the lives of others.
In times when natural disasters strike or communities face unforeseen hardships, we jump into action to establish and support community rebuilding programs. We partner with local organizations that help to meet essential needs and strengthen local economies.
Brightening communities
Each and every day, our global Colorful Communities program is inspired by the transformative power of color. This drives us to brighten and refresh spaces in our neighborhoods. From a popular city park with faded playground equipment to a school with dreary corridors and uninspiring classrooms, our employees are volunteering their time and talent to apply PPG paint products and brighten communities.
Uniting to revitalize hospitals
Across France, 400 PPG employee volunteers painted and revitalized seven hospitals to support the AFM-Téléthon®, an organization that helps people with rare, genetic and progressive diseases.

Responding to disasters
Rebuilding after hurricanes and floods. Providing relief during a global pandemic. Stocking food bank shelves. When a crisis occurs, we provide immediate and long-term support across the regions we call home. We mobilize our employee volunteers, monetary grants and products to help where and when it matters most.
Rebuilding a post-earthquake Mexico City
Following the devastating earthquake that struck Mexico City in 2017, PPG Comex donated $6 million MXN to Fideicomiso Provivah, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building single family homes for impacted individuals and families.

After losing homes, loved ones and possessions, our families, colleagues, partners and friends felt the devastation of the 2017 earthquake. We are truly one, global PPG community, so when the opportunity to rebuild and to help our neighbors in need arose, we took a direct path to lend support through financial contributions.
Supporting communities facing hunger
Providing food assistance in our communities is vitally important. We support community food banks and programs around the world responding to the needs of children, families, seniors and individuals facing hunger in order to help protect our most vulnerable neighbors.
